For Today…Monday, October 13, 2008
Outside my Window…is a very cloudy day with a high of 80°
I am thinking…about my mom
From the learning room…I have been watching a show on the Travel channel (I think) about polar bears in the arctic
I am thankful…my mom made it!!!!!!!!!!!!
From the kitchen…chicken, a starchy veggie and roasted asparagus!
I am wearing…clothes
I am reading…October’s Good Housekeeping
I am hoping…my mom and Cliff’s mom continue to improve
I am creating…stuff on my Facebook page
I am hearing…the computer fan blowing
Around the house…Cliff is still on vacation and is remodeling the bathroom. It was a hard decision to let go of my cute bathroom for a more sophisticated one but it has been this way ten years and is time for a more updated makeover. For me laundry and getting things ready for if we go out of town this weekend.
One of my favorite things…dogs
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…cleaning, laundry, the same things as usual
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you…

Cute picture. I’m glad your mom is OK and hope she and your mil continue to improve.
BTW, you put the wrong link on Mr. Linky. It directs to July.
Love the picture…and I love Polar Bears. (Even use them as a nickname for Napoleon…”i.e. Poley bear”).
They both look so handsome!!!
Thank you for the birthday wishes.
Awesome about the bath. Hope you will share photos soon. I bought some linens and stuff for our guest bath because of the upcoming party. Now I just have to paint the hall.
80 degrees? I wish it was that here… It’s currently 67*, which is higher than it has been… Fall is HERE! *lol*
I think that the new bathroom project sounds lovely. Well, maybe not the process, but I’m sure the result will be lovely!
I just caught some glimpses of what you’re going through with your mom and M-i-L, what a tough time! Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Glad to hear things are improving for your mothers. Safe driving when you go see Cliff’s mum.
Tuffy seems distracted, did he spot some 2nd hand building materials down the road. Or a Donut or Icecream van maybe….
