My buddy Manicdote did a post about 10 things she likes that begins with “C”. I told her I wanted to do it and she assigned me the letter “H”. I am changing it to 13 things and combining it with my Thursday 13. Here goes.
Thirteen Things I Like That Begin With the Letter “H”
1. Hot dogs. I list this first because I used to not like hot dogs and now I love them.
2. Honey. In the seventies, my mother and grandmother heard that honey was good for arthritis and made me eat lots of it. It just so happens…I LOVE honey!
3. History. I love anything history. I especially love presidential facts, assassinations and conspiracies.
4. Hannah. If Cliff and I had had a little girl, this would probably have been her name.
5. Hugs. In the south people hug a lot. Do people hug a lot in other parts of the country/world? I like hugs from loved ones and certain chihuahuas.
6. Home. It’s the place I most love to be.
7. Humor. I love humor and laugh easily.
8. Holidays. I love holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas.
9. Ham. One of my very favorite meats.
10. Hummingbirds. I like these rascally, territorial, aggressive, tiny birds.
11. Husband. I love my husband. That was an easy H word.
12. Haircut. I love when my hair is just cut, it does just what I want it to (for about 2 weeks).
13. Halloween. This is such a fun holiday. I love to see kids in costumes, pumpkins, candy corn, the weather during Halloween, fall leaves, decorations, etc.

I hate Halloween but love the candy. Does that make me a disgruntled glutton?
I love raiding my kids candy bags LOL Unfortunately, this is probably the last year for my youngest. Sigh. I can always buy tons of candy to hand out, even though I live in an apt now and won’t get many visitors LOLOL

In Canada, the French Canadians are much better about hugs than are the Anglos. I LEARNED to hug when I lived in Montreal.
Hannah is one of my favourite names!!! I chose it when I was wondering about becoming a nun: I would have wanted to be “Sister Hannah.” (Then I met E.g., which cleared up several of my big life questions simultaneously.

Cool meme!… It would be interesting to (on day-to-day basis), eventually do that for the entire alphabet… Though I would think letters like “X” would be difficult. *rofl*
I like hotdogs grilled to almost starting to burn point not boiled, they seem to taste so much better that way
I have arthritis in my hands. I have tried everything and I am not taking prescribes drugs anymore. Any ideas on getting pain relief…
