I’ve known people in life who have seemed to have no hope. No hope for a better future, no hope of happiness, and no hope of a wonderful eternity spent with God. To me that is one of the saddest things on earth…to have no hope. I pray today for people who have no hope.
Today I am thankful for:
- the rain during the night Tuesday night…our yard and tomatoes needed it so badly. We water but I don’t like to. It is so much better when it comes naturally!
- a home to live in. When I worked in the mental health field I saw so many homeless people. At a shelter one time, I saw a whole homeless family including a beautiful little girl. How sad is that? I often take our home for granted but try not to.
- great authors so I have something to read. I truly admire their talent for finding the right words.

I’m so with you on the rain “thing” – natural watering always seems so much better!
I’d be lost without a book to read and thankful for so many great authors to choose from!

I always enjoy your thankful list sweetie.
I always enjoy your weekly list.
Today I am thankful for Terry, as he always makes me feel loved, beautiful and smart. I am thankful for the roof over my head, the car that I drive, the job that I have and my darling pugs that bring so much joy to my life.
I’m with you on all three!
I can’t imagine living life w/ no hope. Beth Moore once said that we lose hope when we can’t find ways to fix our problems/issues. I think she’s right. I’m so thankful for the eternal hope we have! Blessings to you.
I’m thankful that Joe said he would clean the 2nd bathroom for me (I mopped the floors and cleaned the big bathroom), since my back is hurting…. Wasn’t that nice?!
Happy TT!
Dontchya just love it when God waters our gardens for us?
Nothing like a vine ripened tomato watered by GOD.
Blessings,
Lea

Such a lovely prayer for hope, and I appreciate the things you’re thankful for, too. I’ve been sinking in to some good books by some great authors like C. J. Mahaney and Jerry Bridges. Blessings!
Yeah for the rain! We are getting some of that precious water right now! Our gardens/yards were dying of thirst!
I join you in thankfulness for a home. Although this one is not mine since we are the caretakers of these camp grounds, I am thankful to have a good place to live and have my family and friends over to!
Hi Gina,
So good to see you again! Thanks for your prayers and encouragements. Thank God for His many mercies.
Thanks for sharing your sweet thankful list with us. Thank God for sending timely rain and many blessings to you! It is indeed a great mercy that we can place our hope in God. Thanks for the reminder to pray for those without hope. May they come to know our Lord too. Glad you are able to serve God in helping others who are suffering and in need. Surely you are a great blessing and encouragement to them! May you continue to shine forth God’s love to them.
Take care and God bless!
Hugs,
Nancie
What a lovely thankful list! Bless your kind heart! People who live without hope are not truly living, are they? That’s sad.
