I sometimes complain about the seasons…summer is so hot, winter is so cold. But I am so glad we have seasons. There is something to enjoy about each and every one.

Today I am thankful for:

  • The beautiful world You made, God, including the lovely, changing seasons.
  • The baby robin I saw as I was getting ready to leave for church Sunday morning.  It reminds me of God’s provision when I see things like this.
  • Cliff’s job and recent, little raise. Jobs are very hard to come by these days and I am very thankful for his. Thanks for the reminder Kathryn. :)
  • Air conditioners and the person who invented them.
  • Cliff liking the chicken pot pie I’ve made twice in two weeks. :D

Gina, Last week I gave thanks in my TT for the exact same thing…SEASONS. Truly God is amazing as we see the changes that the different seasons bring. I loved your TT list especially the AC! What would those of us in the south do without them! – Blessings, Laurie

Gina,

I always enjoy stopping here for your TT post. I think the changin seasons are an absolute gift from God. Each season brings its unique treasures. Half the fun is anticipating the change.

Hey Gina…I’m with ya on that AC!!! But enjoyed your delightful heart of thanks for the seasons, inspite of complaints. I miss 4 seasons! But I’m guilty of the same complaining! Love your Genesis 8 & graphic !!!
I delight in your thanks for the baby robin…must have been a sign for something…and can’t help but Thank God for those little Furbies, Mandy & Tuffy…since I’m almost out of the 3 of mine being in heat, I’m so thankful and hopeful no unseen things took place unguarded by me!

Hoping your weekend cools off a bit and it’s SUPER aMazing! Enjoy!
Be blessed and thanks for blessing me with your visit!

This post hit me today – since I also love to complain when it’s so warm or it’s raining hard…I am guilty! But yes, there is a reason for each season and there is indeed something to enjoy about each season.

It just makes me blush when my husband appreciates my cooking -esp since I’m not much of a good cook. Ditto about the AC.

We have seasons in Southern California too … there’s summer, and, um … er … does “fire” count as a season?

I am thankful for AC too… Though it’s still to cold to use ours. I can’t believe we’re still using the heater, in JUNE!! That’s strange! *lol*

Hi! I think we all are guilty of not being satisfied. I know I am where the rain is concerned!
